Caribbean Shade spent two years aging in bourbon and ex-tequila rum barrels, soaking up every coastal note those barrels had to give. Once the beer emerged, we layered in toasted coconut, coconut cream, and cassia bark to enhance its warm, toasted tones. Finally, an addition of Tahitian vanilla added baking spice and chocolate depth to an already rich base. Flavor highlights of rum cookies, chocolate coconut flakes, and salty ocean air.
