We return once again with a creation that speaks to patience, precision, and the art of transformation.
Morii 6 is a triple-barrel aged Imperial Stout forged across five years and three vessels, each chapter deepening what came before. Our Imperial Stout base began its metamorphosis in Willet Rye barrels for 16 months, where it absorbed bold, warming rye spice and oak. From there, it luxuriated for 40 months in Basil Hayden Double Oak barrels, deepening into rich layers of caramel, toasted oak, and subtle sweetness. Finally, Morii 6 completed its evolution with 4 months in Madeira barrels, bestowing a velvety complexity and delicate hints of dried fruit and fortified wine.
The result is a stout of remarkable depth and elegance. Each sip reveals cascading layers of dark chocolate, warming rye spice, honeyed oak, and the nuanced sweetness of Madeira.
